Plaquemines Gets Agency Nod

FERC Issues Authorization
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has approved the request by Venture Global to site, construct, and operate the Plaquemines LNG Project on a 632-acre site on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. The project is designed with a nameplate capacity of 20 mtpa and a peak achievable capacity of 24 mtpa under optimal operating conditions. FERC also approved the related Gator Express Pipeline.
