Dedication Ceremony Held in Hackberry
Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards and CEO Farhad Ahrabi of Cameron LNG dedicated the Cameron LNG liquefaction and export facility in Cameron Parish yesterday (Oct. 24). Cameron LNG became the second Louisiana company to export LNG to international destinations earlier this year. Also participating in the event with several hundred attendees were Japanese Ambassador Shinsuke Sugiyama and Masafumi Nakada, president of NEXI, the export credit agency of Japan. Link to KADN Story During the dedication, Dan Callens, COO of Cameron LNG, told the Beaumont Enterprise that Train 2 was more than 90% completed and Train 3 was 86% finished, both nearing the start-up phase of construction.
