LNG Allies Comments
Our comments focused on the main conclusion in the NETL report: “the use of U.S. LNG exports for power production in European and Asian markets will not increase GHG emissions from a life cycle perspective, when compared to regional coal extraction and consumption for power production.” We included key conclusions from three similar studies published in Environmental Science & Technology, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Chemical Society.
