Markey to Hold Second SFRC Hearing

The subpanel of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (SFRC) which is chaired by LNG exports skeptic Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA), will hold a hearing on Tues. July 22 entitled: U.S. Security Implications of International Energy and Climate Policies and Issues.

Markey, who did not attend the July 8 SFRC hearing on Renewed Focus on European Energy Security, plans to recall Amos Hochstein, the Deputy Asst. Secretary of State for Energy Diplomacy, to the witness table along with Eric Postel, Asst. USAID Administrator for Economic Growth, Education, and Environment, and Daniel Chiu, the Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense for Strategy and Force Development.

According to the hearing notice (Click Here), other witnesses will include: Rear Admiral David Titley, USN (Retired), David L. Goldwyn, Mary J. Hutzler, and Michael Breen.
